Lost Creek  (H 3.8)
A single stone of 4.018 kg was found in 1916 by a farmer in Lincoln Co., Kansas while walking the perimiter of his property.  It was inherited by his son who sold it to a US meteorite dealer in 2001.
The Lost Creek Meteorite was classified by Dr. Alan Rubin at UCLA.
It was described in the Met. Bulletin # 86 of 2002 as a H 3.8 chondrite  (S2  W3).  Lost Creek is  one of  a few unelilibrated H chondrites
that have been recovered in the United States.   Currently the main mass is owned by a private collector in the Kansas Meteorite Society,
